  1. What Insurance Companies do you provide service for? - GB Service Center has excellent working relations with all insurance companies to get your vehicle back to its original condition.
  2. Must I obtain three estimates? - No. Choosing a repair facility based on an amount of an initial estimate is the worst way to begin to get your vehicle repaired. You should base your decision on how thorough and professional the personnel handle your situation. Always remember the objective of repairing your car after a collision is to restore it to its pre-accident condition.
  3. I was told that I must take my car to a certain repair shop. Must I do this? - No. It's your car and you can take it anywhere you choose for the repair.
  4. Who is responsible to pay the repair shop for my repair bill - the insurance company or me? - You are responsible for the cost of repairs, but we work with all insurance companies to reach an agreed upon payment for the repair. Deductible and Betterment charges (if any) are always the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
  5. Who is responsible for the safety, workmanship and guarantee of my repairs, insurance company or repair shop? - The repair shop is ultimately responsible. Many insurance companies stand behind our work with nationwide warranties through our direct repair relationships.
  6. Do I have to take my vehicle to a drive-in claims service? - No. If the responsible insurance company needs to see the vehicle before authorizing payment of the claim, take the vehicle to your chosen repair facility and have them negotiate with the insurer on your behalf.
  7. If I go to a drive-in claims service, do I have to take the car to its preferred shop? - No. The repairer is always your choice. Although there may be some advantages to going where the insurance company sends you, make sure that the shop is reputable before allowing repairs to begin.
  8. Can the insurance company and service shop make an adjustment and start repair on the auto without the owner's consent? - No. It is your car, and only you can authorize the repair. Remember, you are who is ultimately responsible for payment.
  9. Where do I obtain a claim number? - Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Write it down and bring it with you when you come in to begin the process.
  10. I have a deductible on my insurance policy, to whom do I pay the deductible? - If your deductible is not waived, it will be your responsibility to pay GB Service Center when you pick up your vehicle. If you aren't' sure about your deductible, you can call your insurance agent, they should be able to tell you whether your insurance company has waived your deductible or whether it will be your responsibility.
  11. Can I get other services done on my vehicle while it is in the repair shop? - Yes! Discuss any additional service requests with the estimator or our office staff so that we can make the necessary arrangements to have them done while your vehicle is here.
  12. How long will the repairs take? - Our estimator will give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs to your vehicle. Estimation of time depends on extent of car damage. Be sure to check with your estimator for the specifics on your vehicle.
  13. Do you provide towing? - Yes. We offer towing on our flatbed tow truck.
  14. Can you set up a rental car for me while my car is in the repair shop? - Yes. We can arrange a vehicle through the local Enterprise location, or the downtown location of Hertz.
  15. Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car? - Yes. We want your repair to be a positive experience. We can give you a ride home and pick you up when your repair is complete.
  16. What forms of payment do you accept? - We accept cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express Card.
  17. What are Betterment charges? - Parts that commonly wear our and need replacement with time and usage are commonly
  18. Can I wash my car after a new paint job? - Yes you may wash your car. Below are some recommendations to protect the early stages of your new repair:

    • Wash the vehicle by hand with fresh cool water, apply only a very mild car detergent solution using a soft cloth or sponge.
    • Do not use a commercial car wash.
    • Do not use stiff brushes or sponges, they can mar the finish and damage the surface.
    • Do not wax or polish the vehicle for 90 days. This will allow the finish to harden completely.
    • Do not "dry wipe" your vehicle. This can scratch the finish.
    • Try to avoid parking under trees and utility lines to avoid bird droppings and tree sap.
